The Black Maidens have been banned from competing in the next two editions of the FIFA U17 Women’s African qualifiers and fined $100,000.

The decision was made after the Moroccan FA filed a protest over the ages of Players, Nancy Amoh and Rasheeda Shahadu, who were believed to have falsified their birth date information and are above the stated age.

The Ghana Football Association was asked to provide a written response by the CAF Disciplinary Board in other to defend themselves, but they failed to do so.

Nancy Amoh was among the goal scorers as Ghana defeated Morocco 2-0 in the first leg in Accra, before suffering defeat in the return leg in Morocco and lost out on penalties.

Ghana can still contest this decision before the CAF Appeal Board.
