Following an exciting month of women’s football around the world and with the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023 also fast approaching, the world’s brightest emerging talents and future superstars of the women’s game will take to the field at the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup™ in Costa Rica from 10 to 28 August 2022.

The FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup Costa Rica 2022 will kick-off with a spectacular opening day on 10 August, which will see Germany play Colombia and New Zealand meet Mexico.

The opening day will conclude with two huge Group A matches with Brazil playing Spain, and host nation Costa Rica playing their opening match against Australia.

The winners of the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup 2022 will be crowned 18 days later, with the final set to take place at San José’s Estadio Nacional on Sunday 28 August.
