- Sabrine Ellouzi of Tunisia scored the first brace of the tournament in The Carthage Eagles’ first ever Women’s AFCON win against Togo.
- Togo’s Omolatcho Djankale got the first sending off in the tournament after she was shown a straight red card in their game against Tunisia.
- Tunisia and Botswana and Zambia recorded the highest number of goals scored by a team in a match (4 goals) in the group stage.
- Morocco’s Ghizlane Chebbak is the highest goal scorer in the group stage. The Atlas Lionesses captain scored 3 goals and was the only player to score in each game in the group stage.
QUARTER-FINALISTS
Senegal, Morocco, Zambia, South Africa, Cameroon, Tunisia, Nigeria and Burundi have all progressed to the quarter-finals.
OUT
Uganda, Burkina Faso, Togo and Burundi are all out.
