Liberia is set to host the Women’s Champions League WAFU Zone A qualifiers as confirmed by the Liberia Football Association (LFA).
The qualifiers which is scheduled for August this year, will see women’s Champions from WAFU A member associations with active women’s division leagues vie for the 2022 CAF Women’s Champions league spot.
Four out of the nine WAFU A member association was represented at the last edition held in Cape Verde, and Malian Champions AS Mande won the tournament and represented the Zone at the final tournament held in Egypt.
Liberia will be hosting the tournament for the first time, and will be represented by Champions Determine Girls in the qualifying tournament. The Champions ended the previous edition in third place out of four teams after securing three points from three games.
